Profit reconciliation for Shopify stores

Your dashboard says one number. Your payout says another.

Settled Profit reconciles every order against the payout you actually received, and freezes the numbers at payout time, so the profit you saw last month is the profit you can still prove today.

Every difference is explained line by line: the fee, the refund, or the ad spend behind it.

Three ways the number breaks

Each of these is documented in public merchant reviews of today's leading profit trackers. They are the reason stores stop trusting the dashboard.

Ad spend that never lands

If an ad platform cannot attribute a click to an order, some trackers leave that spend out of the P&L entirely. Profit looks better than it is, and you scale campaigns on a number that is missing real costs.

Fees from a formula

Transaction fees estimated by formula drift from what Shopify Payments or PayPal actually deducted from your payout. Small per order, wrong on every order.

History that rewrites itself

Change a product cost today and last month's profit changes with it. The report you saved no longer matches the tool, and you cannot show how either number was built.

What Settled Profit does differently

Costs frozen at payout

COGS, shipping and fees for each order are locked in when the payout lands. Later edits never silently change a closed period.

100% of ad spend reconciled

All of your Meta and Google ad spend counts, attributed or not, reconciled against the payout instead of only the spend a pixel could trace.

An audit trail you can export

Every change to a cost is logged with its date and reason. Export the full cost model and its history, not just the totals, and rebuild the number anywhere.

How it works

  1. Connect your store

Read-only connection to Shopify and your ad accounts. Setup is guided by email, no call required.

  2. We lock each payout

When a payout lands, the costs behind every order in it are frozen and the ad spend for the period is reconciled against it.

  3. You get a number you can prove

One profit figure per period, with the line-by-line trail behind it, ready to hand to your bookkeeper.

Questions

Is this accounting or tax advice?

No. Settled Profit is a reconciliation tool, not accounting or tax advice. It shows how each profit number was built, line by line. Your bookkeeper or accountant stays in charge of your books and filings.

Which platforms does the pilot cover?

Shopify stores paid through Shopify Payments or PayPal, with ad spend from Meta and Google. Other channels are not part of the pilot.

What happens when I correct a product cost?

The correction is appended to the audit trail with its date. Closed periods keep the numbers they were frozen with, and you can see both versions.

Can I take my data with me?

Yes. You can export the full cost model, the frozen order costs and the audit trail at any time, not just the summary reports.

What data do you keep?

Your order, cost and payout data, used only to reconcile your profit. We don't sell it or share it.
